During the long months of quarantine during Coronavirus, nine couples called in every Sunday evening via Zoom. These so-called “Sunday Night Gatherers” selected one host to guide the talks on favorite gardens, morning, rituals, architecture, paintings, album covers, museums, vacations, poetry, last outing prior to lockdown, movies, restaurants, Mother’s Day, and more. We opened a thread on Slack to download recipes, maps, and photos. The conversations lasted an hour-and-a-half, and then it was back to reality. Last night, most who were in town, could finally celebrate an in-person, no mask, summer lawn party. Happy days are here again!
